Refinery Intelligence Product Manager (M/F)

You will be joining The Kayrros Data Products team.

Kayrros energy & commodities data products are used every day by analysts & traders across commodity trading houses, energy companies, banks, hedge funds to inform trading decisions with fundamental data they can trust.

The energy transition, AI boom and geopolitical volatility are driving fundamental changes and volatility across the oil, gas, carbon and power markets. Kayrros is uniquely positioned to help customers navigate these challenges with realtime, global and accurate data.

Kayrros data products leverage a unique technology combining satellite imagery, AI and data fusion to answer Kayrros customer’s pressing needs for supply and demand data that gives them an edge.

Role

As part of Kayrros’ rapid global expansion, this role is a key opportunity to have a direct impact in scaling our data products business for the oil market.

You will work under the leadership of the Paris-based Chief Product Officer and have the opportunity to oversee the development and commercialization of Kayrros products offering a range of refinery monitoring services for global oil traders and analysts.

Kayrros has a strong established customer base of oil traders and analysts, and a large growth opportunity in this market. 

You’ll be part of our global product organization — working closely with team members in Paris, London and Houston — to shape the next generation of market-moving products for traders, analysts, and investors.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Product roadmap & expansion

  • Interact with existing customers and market participants across crude oil and petroleum products markets to gather product feedback and determine industry trends and pain points to build the product roadmap.

  • Take over the current refinery monitoring product roadmap, with key launches already planned for 2026.

  • Take over the current refinery monitoring bespoke contracts and expand the configurable refinery monitoring offering.

  • Work closely with the engineering and R&D teams to leverage the unique Kayrros satellite remote sensing and AI technologies to answer customer needs in a differentiated manner.

  • Drive communication and stakeholder engagement internally and with the customer community.

  • Take part in Kayrros PM community, developing your product management best practices and helping the rest of the team grow.

Market engagement & pre-sales

  • Act as a thought partner to clients and prospects, helping them connect Kayrros insights to oil market moves and investment opportunities

  • Work hand-in-hand with the sales team to showcase the value of Kayrros data through impactful content, demos, and discussions

  • Lead pre-sales lifecycle, monitoring and reporting for the products under your responsibility

  • Contribute to events, webinars, and conferences — sharing timely market views and representing Kayrros as a trusted voice in the power commodities space.

Insight generation & content creation

  • Analyze trends across oil markets using Kayrros’ unique geospatial and AI data

  • Produce market commentary, reports, and presentations that highlight our data’s edge and real-world impact

  • Collaborate with our NY-based Chief Analyst Antoine Halff  and leverage his mentorship and global energy network to amplify your impact (bio : https://www.linkedin.com/in/antoine-h-5067824/).

Job requirements

Profile

  • 3+ years experience as product owner or product manager at a data provider focused on energy and commodities
    Or 3+ years of experience as a commodities market analyst at an energy company, trading house, hedge fund, research firm

  • Strong understanding of oil market fundamentals and good understanding of refinery operations

  • Experience working with financial institutions (hedge funds, banks, trading desks)

  • Comfortable engaging clients and prospects — strong pre-sales mindset with the ability to articulate value and impact

  • Fluent with data (autonomous running data analysis in Excel / Python or similar tools)

  • Entrepreneurial and hands-on: thrives in a fast-moving environment and excited to help grow Kayrros’ US presence

  • Curious about new commodities, the evolving role of AI in markets, and the intersection of finance, energy, and climate
