We are currently recruiting for our Paris Office,

a DevOps Engineer Junior F/H (Apprenticeship)

We are looking to strengthen our DevOps team to accompany Kayrros' growth. You will join our team as a DevOps Engineer Junior to build, operate and improve our infrastructure.

By following the best practices in infrastructure design, system administration and deployment workflows, you will enable innovation in conjunction with developers, researchers and data scientists.

At Kayrros, we’ve recently completed a strategic migration to AWS, a move that sets the stage for exciting new challenges and scaling opportunities. To support our growth, we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer Junior eager to make an impact by helping us build and maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure.

As part of the Infrastructure Team, you’ll play a vital role in the deployment, performance, and continuous improvement of our platforms. You’ll work closely with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Data Scientists to power a data-driven organization at the forefront of the energy transition.

What You’ll Do:

●        Contribute to our infrastructure-as-code strategy by maintaining and evolving existing solutions and deployment pipelines.

●        Research and integrate innovative open-source technologies into our ecosystem.

●        Support the evolution of our AWS platform by responding to requests from cross-functional teams.

●        Monitor infrastructure health — ensuring availability, performance, and scalability.

●        Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose improvements.

●        Help internal teams use resources efficiently and responsibly.

●        Share knowledge and promote best practices across the team and wider organization.

Your Technical Skills:

●        Strong understanding of AWS, Linux, and containerization

●        Proficient in at least one programming language (preferably Python).

Your Personal Strengths:

●        Autonomous, self-motivated and eager to learn new tools and technologies quickly.

●        Thrive in a collaborative, agile, and fast-paced environment.

●        Open communicator, curious, and comfortable asking questions or sharing feedback.

●        Fluent in French and English: our day-to-day team communication is in French, but we document in English and collaborate regularly with colleagues in the UK, US, and India.

Bonus Points If You Have:

Experience working with Docker and (K8s) Kubernetes.
